Halloween

Halloween this year is going to kind of boring for me. I am going to see a play that I have to see for my theater 100 class. The play is called Little Women. I am hoping the Play is good and at least I didn't waste to much of time by going to the play. After the play is over it will be late so I'll end up just going back to the dorm and hang out. Ya kind of a boring Halloween huh.

Assassins

A new game has started this week called assassins. The game is a very discreet game where you get 5 dossiers and you have to go out and assassinate them. The game is to go on for the rest of the semester. The game right now is in the beta stages so there is many problems but are being fixed. Unlike HvZ you can kill people in doors and able to set up indirect kills. After you die you either become a CIA agent or a informant. A CIA agent goes out and kills the people who have gained to much infamy or had to many witnesses to there kills. A informant finds out information on other assassins and try to sell it to other assassins. The game ends when all the assassins are dead or the last surviving assassin kills the head of the CIA.

PS3

I was just curious if anyone had a PS3 out there and what games they where going to buy this winter with so many PS3 games coming out its going to be hard for me to choose what to buy and what ones are worth it. Some the great games have come out like Uncharted 2, Brutal legend, and Borderlands. There is many more on the way though such as Assassins Creed 2, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Dragon's Age: Origins, and some others that I cant think of at the moment. Myself, I am at least planing on getting Call of Duty and Assassins Creed 2 but I don't know what else to get so I am asking for your guys opinions on what you're getting this holiday season.

Dagorhir

Most of you have probably seen the people fighting with fake swords and shield on the university green in the past. I finally got the nerve up to go out there see what it was about it yesterday. The game is called Dagorhir. The game has chapters or groups all over the united states. I got to play with them that day because they had community weapons for people that would like to play the game but don't have the money to buy them or not sure how to make them. The game is really fun and its excise without me even knowing it. My whole body was aching afterward. Its probably the most geeky thing I have ever done before but its fun so I have decided that I will get involved in it and one day hopefully make my own weapons.

Video Game training increases Novice Surgons Performance

30 surgical Novices where matched randomly into 2 groups that for 5 weeks would play 2 different video games. One group would the 1st person shooter Half Life and the other group played the game chess-master. They played these games to increase there capability with the two endoscopic surgical simulators (MIST-VR and GI Mentor II). The group that played Half Life had increased there ability's with both endoscopic surgical simulators. The other group that played chess-masters only increased on the MIST-VR. This showing that videos that have higher visual-spatially challenging video games like Half Life might be a predictive factor for the outcome in surgical simulation.

HvZ comes to end

Yes HvZ is over alas but our final mission was awesome. It started with the zombies meeting at the steps of the Art museum and humans met at the north bus stop. Zombies find out that the humans are going to be in two convoys and they are heading this way to get a helicopter extraction point. One of the convoys was sabotaged with a zombie baby so the convoy was going to go down and we could take it out but the 2nd one was going to make it to the last stand spot. The mission started and the zombies ran towards north bus stop and met with the 1st convoy and it pulled over suddenly and convoy fell apart and everyone got eaten by the zombies. The 2nd convoy came 5 minutes later that had less people but they made it all the way down with out any troubles. They made it to the front of the admin building and made there final stand there. Two charges from the zombies and it was over. After it was over we had the traditional charge. Alas its over but there will be another game in the spring so everyone come and join

Gatorade

Ya it feels like sense i have come to college I am living off of Gatorade. Im talking all flavors and all kinds. Its just so convenient I just grab it and take it with me. Its wierd i never drank gatorade when I was younger. Sense I have stopped drinking pop it just like hmm pop or gatorade or some snapple stuff that's all dark and in a corner. So Gatorade it is i was wondering if anyone is the same way when they came here to college.

HvZ Has started

Like the Title says HvZ has started and we have had our 1st mission of the game last night that went into the we hours of the morning. We have lost alot of people more then usual on the 1st night and some of the players that went down are some of the most influential and well known players. This Has scared many of older players scared which is scaring the younger players but we are slowly getting into organized groups and hopefully by tonight we will find out who the OZ's (original zombies) are and try not to lose any more players tonight when tonights mission goes into affect.

Hair

I went seen hair last Sunday(ya I am a little slow on posting for it but oh well). I thought the play was great. It had a great atmosphere. Everyone was very lively and some people even dressed up as same as the actors which I thought that was really cool. The actors often broke the 4th wall which means they got off the stage and involved the audience.I thought the actors did a great job expect for the guy named woof I thought he was really obnoxious and annoying. The plot in general was kind of sad to me I am not going to spoil and details but I thought it was. I diffently recommend it to people that liked the 70's culture and the way the depicted it.

HvZ meeting tonight

We had a HvZ meeting tonight and it went awesome I learned alot about how to get from class to class and some ways to stay away from the zombies. Its all about being able to run as fast as you can or as tactfully as you can. HvZ can be killer on the body if you are not in shape cause you have to run everywhere. I learned you have to deal with a lot of shit though from other people on the campus which is kind of sad. You would think people would grow up a little bit.
