I just bought a poster for the movie just recently and surprised at how many people that walk into my room and say awesome poster. Monty Python a The Holy Grail is an old British comedy spoofing King Arther and his search for the holy grail. It has lots of dumb jokes and puns that a lot of people don't think there funny. I on the other hand think its one the best movies ever. I can quote many parts of the movie for example.
King Arthur: I am your king.
Woman: Well I didn't vote for you.
King Arthur: You don't vote for kings.
Woman: Well how'd you become king then?
[Angelic music plays... ]
King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
Dennis: [interrupting] Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

O, I totally agree. This movie is truly fantastic, a masterpiece. I love it when they find that killer bunny and the knights that say ni. The black knight is probably my favorite part, haha.
ReplyDeleteThat movie total kicks ass....I love all movies by mel brooks!!! My favorite line from that movie is "she turned me into a newt........well i got betta" i also know the song to men in tights!!!! I agree with patrick too, the black night is also hilarious.
